MDW at the MIFF Opening Night Gala August 7, 2026

Members of the MDW team recently attended the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) Opening Night Gala, joining clients, industry leaders and members of Melbourne’s screen and business communities for one of the most anticipated events on the cultural calendar.

The evening provided an excellent opportunity to connect with professionals from across Melbourne’s screen and business communities.  Guests then attended the Australian premiere of Wicker, a charming and entertaining opening night film directed by Eleanor Wilson and Alex Huston Fischer and starring Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgård and Elizabeth Debicki.

Following the screening, the team continued the celebrations at the official MIFF Opening Night Afterparty, taking the opportunity to further connect with industry colleagues in a relaxed setting.
