MDW at Toronto International Film Festival 2022 September 13, 2022

MDW’s Media & Entertainment Team are again jetting off around the world for international film festivals. This time around experienced lawyer Davina Colquhoun is off to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

This will be a great opportunity for Davina, MDW & the team to gain further insight into the international film market and a perfect excuse for Davina to see some of the amazing movies screening at TIFF this year!

Among these films, MDW provided the production legals on ‘Carmen’ which will hold its World Premiere at TIFF. ‘Carmen’ is a reimagining of one of history’s most famous love stories and operas, directed by Benjamin Millepied, starring Melissa Barrera and Paul Mescal, and featuring a music score by Nicholas Brittell.

TIFF is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world and since its founding in 1976 it has solidified itself as an international leader in culture and pivotal insight into the year of film to come.
