MDW Celebrates RoCan Ride 2025: $80,000 Raised for Cancer Support July 24, 2025

marshalls+dent+wilmoth lawyers is proud to have been a principal sponsor of the 25th annual RoCan Ride for a Cause, where our own John Boyle represented MDW at the celebration dinner held at Kooringal Golf Club.

This year’s event saw riders and supporters complete an incredible eight-day, 1,000km journey from Geelong to Adelaide, raising a total of $80,000. The proceeds were split equally between Ovarian Cancer Australia and the Fight Cancer Foundation, each receiving $40,000 to support their vital work.

RoCan’s commitment to improving the lives of those affected by ovarian cancer spans 25 years, a vision first inspired by Yvonne Moon OAM and brought to life with the support of the Rotary Club of Williamstown.

MDW is honoured to have been a principal sponsor for nearly two decades, helping the RoCan team raise over $1.5 million for ovarian cancer research and support services. The results are very tangible and have benefitted a lot of very seriously ill and recovering patients and members of our community.

The evening was highly successful, as John joined fellow riders, support crews, sponsors, and beneficiaries to celebrate this remarkable community achievement.
