Mornington Yacht Club Business Lunch 2026 March 31, 2026

marshalls+dent+wilmoth were delighted to once again sponsor the Mornington Yacht Club’s Annual Business Lunch on 27 March 2026.

Thank you to this year’s guest speaker, Rear Admiral Chris Oxenbould AO, RAN (Ret’d), who has served as Chair of Australian Sailing’s National Safety Committee and led multiple high‑profile reviews into ocean racing safety.  These included the 1998, 2004 and 2024 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races, as well as reviews into navigation issues in round‑the‑world races.

As an accomplished sailor himself, Chris has competed in numerous ocean races off Australia’s east coast, including ten Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races.  He also shared insights from his naval career, which spanned more than three decades.

MDW is proud of its ongoing partnership with the Mornington Yacht Club and to support such an important local community organisation.
