MDW will maintain its enviable momentum with key appointments in two newly-created roles

MDW continues to be at the forefront of legal innovation with the appointments of highly regarded lawyers Jeremy Goldman and Alexandra Shaw who will both be working in traditional and non traditional legal roles.

Jeremy Goldman

Goldman (formerly of Herbert Smith Freehills and BlueRock) joins MDW as Director of Investments and Co-Chair of the newly created MDW Ventures business.

Goldman will work with Corporate and Commercial Principal Josh Kaplan. He will be responsible for advising MDW’s growing client base of emerging businesses in areas including:

• Capital raising activities
• Legal and corporate strategy
• Structuring
• Commercial law
• Employee share schemes

He will also oversee the continued growth of MDW’s popular automated legal technology solution, MDW Express.

Alexandra Shaw

Shaw (formerly of LegalVision and KHQ) joins the firm in a dual role combining legal and non-legal functions:

1. She will continue to drive innovation in the firm with a particular focus on client experience and people experience; and

2. She will use her niche expertise to grow the firm’s food and beverage law practice, including:

• Advertising
• Sponsorship
• Product labelling compliance
• Other consumer law issues
